I'm Tamara Jewell, the heart behind Aura Home Refresh — a one woman cleaning and organizing business in Portland, Oregon. For every client, my goal is to provide thoughtful and effective support that makes home feel a little (or a lot) lighter and brighter. Through good ol' hard work, genuine care, and having a deep understanding of the psychology behind chaos — I aim to bring relief, dignity, and shine to every home I visit.

As someone with ADHD and a history of depression, I've witnessed firsthand how quickly a messy environment can become overwhelming, even debilitating. I also understand the importance of a fresh start — a chance at a cleaner and brighter future for yourself, no matter the mess of the past or present.

At Aura Home Refresh, wellness starts with the safe ingredients used inside your home. Gone are the days of relying on harsh chemicals with strong fumes to tackle everyday messes! I offer 100% natural and fragrance-free cleanings at no extra charge — because the health of you and your loved ones shouldn't come at a cost. Some gentle brands I use include Mrs. Meyers, Clean Cult, Method, and more! I strive to have options for every preference, so I always have more traditional, heavy-duty products on hand as well.

I service all of Portland and most surrounding areas — and I can travel up to 25 miles for really big cleanings! For an out of Portland cleaning, I ask that you please book a free phone consultation. I also offer complimentary consultations for large or specialty projects and anyone who simply wishes to chat with me prior to booking — whatever you need to feel comfortable! For an hourly rate of $25, you'll receive experienced, trustworthy, and compassionate cleaning and organizing assistance with the option to fully customize your service to fit your every need. I even offer lower to no cost single room cleanings for folks really in need of help. If you're in Portland, cannot afford my rate, and have a very dirty room in your home, I'll happily come clean it at a reduced rate or free of charge — just reach out via text and include a photo of your kitchen to see if you qualify! All I ask in return is to allow me to photograph the space for my portfolio.
